Author Contributions

All submitted manuscripts must include an Author Contributions statement describing the specific roles of each author in the study. The Iraqi Journal of Veterinary Medicine follows the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) system to ensure transparency and accountability.

Each author’s contribution should be stated clearly using the following categories where applicable: Conceptualization, Methodology, Investigation, Data Curation, Formal Analysis, Resources, Writing – Original Draft, Writing – Review & Editing, Supervision, Funding Acquisition.

Investigation includes conducting experiments, animal handling, and sample collection. providing materials, animals, or access to samples (if applicable)

Author names must be presented as initials (e.g., A.S.O., G.S.B.), and contributions should be separated by semicolons.

Example:

Conceptualization, Methodology: A.S.O.; Investigation (experiments and sample collection), Resources: G.S.B.; Writing – Original Draft: A.S.O.; Writing – Review & Editing: A.S.O., G.S.B. All authors have read and approved the final version of the manuscript.

All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the work and approved the submitted manuscript. Any change in authorship after submission requires written approval from the editorial office.
